End of Life Decisions: An Interfaith Presentation at Hospice Regional Conference in Fort Worth, TX

Dr. Basheer Ahmed made a presentation on Health, Illness and End of Life Decisions: Islamic Perspective at this regional conference. His presentation focused on Islamic Faith related to End of Life Decisions for patients who are terminally ill. He also explained the special needs and rituals for Muslim patients during the last days of life. This educational program was organized for health care providers to make them aware of special needs for people of different faiths and cultural backgrounds, who are hospitalized or given care at home.
